Clay Center Area Chamber of Commerce! On behalf of all our proud Chamber members,
we thank you for stopping by.
Clay Center is known as the “Best Kept Secret in the Midwest”,
a “Diamond in the Rough”, and many other spectacular names, but for those who
live here, we proudly just call it “home”.
The Clay Center population is
made up of many people who were born and raised here, those who have moved back
to be with family, and those who just happened to stumble in and
have made the choice to make Clay Center their home.
We encourage you to stop by
and take in the atmosphere where you will feel the sense of pride and dedicated
support for family values; you will find friendly people welcoming you to the
community; and you may even find yourself wanting to be a part of Clay Center.
The vision of the Clay Center Area Chamber of
Commerce is to work in partnership with businesses and professionals to
effectively make Clay Center a better city in which to work and live. It is, in
fact, Clay Center's Department of Progress!
Our goal is threefold -
The Chamber is not a government entity. The
Chamber is lead by a local elected board of directors and a professional director. Our goal is
achieved through committed volunteers who work together in action oriented
groups, committees and task forces.
The Chamber is often referred to
as the "Front Door" of the community. Through a corporate effort, the
Chamber strives to present a positive image to people visiting and/or relocating
to
our city.
Our Chamber members are the voice of our community speaking in unison
to say, "Welcome
to our community!"
